Trade Number 3: The Bears trade Chase Claypool to an early surprise team
One of the fun surprises of Week 1 came when the Los Angeles Rams went out and dominated the Seattle Seahawks on the road. It was a game where Seattle was supposed to pick up where they left off last season, when they rode the late breakout from Geno Smith to a playoff berth.
Seattle added more weapons this offseason and looked primed to continue their rise behind some of their younger defensive studs, plus the addition of veteran linebacker Bobby Wagner returning to the team. But, the Rams had other ideas and took it to their division rival.
The Rams will be without Cooper Kupp until at least Week 5, and although they saw some of their younger guys step up, it wouldn't hurt to see them add another weapon. Maybe taking their chance on another former Bears wide receiver (cough, Allen Robinson) could help this team pad their depth at the position.
Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell played very well and looked like viable options for this passing game, but Claypool would give Sean McVay another versatile weapon to use. Maybe, the brain of McVay and his scheme could unlock Claypool's potential.
