Brian Baschnagel's life after the Chicago Bears

Following the team's championship, Baschnagel retired from the NFL. A 10-year veteran, he finished his career with 2,024 offensive yards and nine offensive touchdowns on 142 total touches. Additionally, Baschangel contributed 2,160 total return yards and a kick return touchdown during his time with the Bears. He is currently 37th all-time in franchise receiving yards and ninth all-time in kick return yards.

Following his retirement from the NFL, Baschnagel worked for North America Corp until 2012 while also spending time as a uniform inspector for the NFL, where he was able to attend Bears games. Today, Baschnagel enjoys his time in retirement as a grandfather and stays close to his roots in the greater Chicago and Ohio areas with his family.
