3. Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama

The Bears made a wise decision trading for former Commanders pass rusher Montez Sweat and then extending him right away. Already, Sweat has made a huge difference in how this defensive front operates. In his first game of action for the Bears, Sweat had the best game of any Chicago pass rusher all season. He was constantly in the face of Derek Carr and followed up that game with three hits on Bryce Young last Thursday.

If the Bears want to create an elite pairing at edge rusher, then look no further. Dallas Turner looks to be the front-runner as this draft's top pass rusher, and why wouldn't he be? He plays for the Crimson Tide. It's typically a genius move to draft the top defensive player out of Alabama each year. It tends to work out.

Turner stands 6-foot-4 and presents an athletic, tall and versatile build. He is explosive off the line of scrimmage and has that lightning first step that you look for in a top-tier pass rusher. But, he is also able to drop back into medium coverage every now and then. He not only has forward speed but can move laterally, and that also allows him to be a force against the run.
