Scenario Number 2: Trade Justin Fields, draft Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison Jr.
The second scenario, which a lot of fans love dreaming about, is if the Bears indeed drafted USC quarterback Caleb Williams first overall. Obviously, if Williams becomes a Bear, then that means Justin Fields is on his way out. But the question is, where does Fields go?
One of the more popular ideas, right now, is if the Bears dealt Fields to the Atlanta Falcons. Pairing him with guys like running back Bijan Robinson, wide receiver Drake London and tight end Kyle Pitts could lead to an electric future for that Falcons offense. Desmond Ridder has not been the answer, nor will Taylor Heinicke be that.
There are probably a good 5-6 teams that would call right away if Fields was on the trade block, and Chicago could still likely land a first-round pick in return. Other teams that could be in the market for a quarterback include the Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals (depending on a potential Kyler Murray trade), Washington Commanders, or even teams like the Las Vegas Raiders or Denver Broncos if they're wanting to move on from spendy quarterback contracts and eat all of that money.
Then, of course, the Bears would want to pair Williams with Marvin Harrison Jr.
