3. Jaquan Brisker is a breakout candidate for the Chicago Bears

Jaquan Brisker has everything that you would want to see from a potential breakout candidate. He is entering his second season. So, while he tailed off a bit as a rookie he is primed to go through a full season this year. Beyond that, he now is becoming a known name and not just the rookie in Chicago.

Brisker was excellent at times during his rookie season. He led the Bears in multiple stat categories and was one of their best players. When you compare Brisker to other safeties in their rookie season, he looks really good comparatively. It has him on track to have a strong season.

So, if that is the case, why wouldn't he make the Pro Bowl? The Bears defense was all-time bad last season. Even if they get to average, people will be looking for players to credit for the upswing. If that happens in 2023, one of the big reasons will be because Brisker is leading the team in tackles, and has a forced fumble or two, and a pick or two, and a sack or two. That ability to do it all and stuff the stat sheet is what is going to get him into the Pro Bowl.
