If the Bears move on from Eddie Jackson, they're going to need a replacement. How about another Alabama defensive back in his place? Malachi Moore is a physical defensive back with experience all over the secondary and with him lining up next to Jaquan Brisker, the Bears would have a pair of disciplined safeties that are unafraid to do the dirty work.

Moore loves contact. He's strong and willing to get close to the line of scrimmage and find the play before it hits the line of scrimmage. One thing the Bears have lacked with Jackson is discipline, and they won't have to worry about that with Moore.

Finally, with their last pick in the draft, the. Bears once again add to their wide receiver core by going with the best player available at pick no. 141. South Carolina's Antwane Wells Jr. joins D.J. Moore, Malik Nabers, Darnell Mooney and Tyler Scott to round out a potent arsenal of wideouts for Justin Fields.

As the Bears' possible no. 5 wide receiver, Wells provides a 6-foot-1, 208-pound target who is a strong and sturdy player. He has great hands and presents Fields with a nice run-after-catch type of option. His ability to gain yardage after the catch is one of his biggest strengths, and he's a lot like D.J. Moore in that aspect.

Wells' 2023 season has seen him miss almost the entire year thus far due to injury, but he should be back and healthy, soon.
