4. Cody Whitehair, G/C

Once a fan favorite, and a guy who spent his entire NFL career with the Bears to this point, offensive lineman Cody Whitehair is still a free agent. The 2016 second-round pick out of Kansas State quickly came in and solidified himself as a staple on the offensive line.

Over the years, Whitehair helped the Bears out by playing both center and guard, many times being in the midst of an unfair situation. The constant flip-flopping of positions wasn't necessarily in his best interest, and saw him end up struggling with snaps later in his career.

Before the 2024 season kicks off, Whitehair will have turned 32 years old. He is at the point in his career where he's best served as a backup, and he'd thrive in that role. But, to be a starter in this league doesn't seem to be in the cards for Whitehair at this point. He's not the guy he once was; the Pro Bowler that was back in 2018.
