Ex-Chicago Bears tight end set to return to NFL after one-year hiatus

Jimmy Graham Looking to Improve on Hall of Fame Resume
Currently, Graham's 85 career receiving touchdowns are fourth best in NFL history as a tight end, but it is unlikely that he can pass Rob Gronkowski (93) during the 2023 season. Nonetheless, Graham's homecoming would be a nice development for the former Bear. The Saints look completely different than how he left them following the 2014 season, and perhaps more important than his on-field impact could be his leadership and experience on the sideline and in the locker room.
With Derek Carr coming to town over the offseason, having a player synonymous with the Saints like Graham could go a long way to help implement a new offense and culture for a younger offense that could use some veteran leadership, especially because star running back Alvin Kamara may miss the first part of the season.
It is hard to predict if the five-time Pro Bowler will make the final 53 or what his spot in the potential depth chart may be, but Bears fans, Saints fans, and football fans alike should be excited to see an all-time great talent lace the cleats up for a potential swan song season.
