Two dream free agent signings the Chicago Bears must pursue

With free agency being a little over a month away, the money-loaded Chicago Bears will be doing some heavy spending.

The new league year is right around the corner. On March 13th at 4:00 pm ET, players officially become free agents. Ryan Poles has made it clear that building through the draft is his goal. He has his own free agents to consider. Jaylon Johnson is easily the biggest of those names as he easily had his best season during his contract year. However, Poles has to add players through free agency as well. To this point, Poles has had more misses in free agency than hits. Andrew Billings might be his best addition to date. It will be interesting to see how aggressive he is this offseason knowing he holds a significant amount of cap space.

According to PFF the Chicago Bears, who currently have $46,876,157 in cap space, will be able to bolster the roster by adding some of the top available free agents. Certain positional groups have better-pending options than others. However, many pending free agents will be re-signed by their current teams or even receive the franchise tag. For now, we will consider all pending free agents as available because Poles and his staff will need to look at all scenarios when attempting to bolster this roster. The Chicago Bears will need to plan for free agency and the draft cohesively.

There will be many solid free agents available, but two, I believe, are "can't-miss" dream signings.
