If the Chicago Bears look to sign a corner, James Bradberry must be considered

James Bradberry could have the opportunity to join former teammate T.J. Edwards in Chicago, and the cornerback would solidify one of the best secondaries in the NFL. At 6'1", 210 lbs, Bradberry could be a great complement opposite of Jaylon Johnson while simultaneously forcing Kyler Gordon to more of a slot role going forward. Bradberry's skills as a zone defender seem to fit the billing of what the team is looking for in the secondary, and could help make the defensive line's job a lot easier.

Cornerback is not necessarily a position of need right now, but nonetheless, Bradberry could really elevate a unit that has shown so much potential over the past year. Bradberry will only be 30 years old by the start of next season, and while signing him to a long-term deal might not make the most sense, he is certainly a player who could come into Chicago for just a few seasons. After making the Super Bowl just a season ago with the Eagles, Bradberry could be a trusted veteran who could dramatically help support and mentor some of the younger players that the Bears have on their roster.
