Chicago Bears: 5 Free agent targets still available

Chicago Bears Free Agency: Cameron Fleming, OT
Among many other things, the Bears' offensive line lacks experience. With the exception of Cody Whitehair, who has become a staple of the Bears' offense, the line consists of many younger, inexperienced players. This is where a veteran like Cameron Fleming could be a game-changer. His 111 career appearances would be the most of any player in Chicago’s line and is currently 30 years old.
Last offseason, Fleming hit free agency in March only to resign with Denver in late July. The 2023 offseason appears to be headed in a similar direction. With the draft now out of the way, many of the teams that were once in dire need of a starting tackle are now content with their personnel.
As mentioned before, the Chicago Bears could use some depth at tackle, and Fleming is a lot more than just a backup. He was used as a rotational tackle throughout his time with the Dallas Cowboys in the late 2010s, appearing in 28 games while only making six starts.
Although Wynn is a more intriguing player, given his draft status and youth, Fleming’s experience and proven willingness to split playing time would make him a solid fit on the Bears’ offensive line.
