5. Antoine Winfield Jr., S

Finally, the Bears could go out and sign maybe the best safety in football, current Bucs All Pro Antoine Winfield Jr. Now, first let me say that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are likely going to do everything they can to re-sign him. But, in case the Bears can beat the Bucs' offer and really, really want him, he's worth talking about.

Winfield is a true alpha in the secondary. He does everything well. He's someone that pops off the screen anytime you watch a Bucs game. The guy is quite literally everywhere. He covers a whole lot of ground and is a menace in both the run and pass game.

In 2023, he tallied a career-high 122 combined tackles. Winfield also posted career highs in interceptions (three), passes defensed (12), forced fumbles (led the league with six), fumble recoveries (five), quarterback hits (eight) and sacks (6.0).

If the Bears were able to sign Winfield and re-sign Jaylon Johnson, this secondary might be one of the best in football.
