Round 5, 136 Overall: Nick Saldiveri, OT, Old Dominion

Nick Saldiveri is an interesting prospect. He spent three seasons as a starter at right tackle. His length has some wondering if he will move to guard, but for now, the Chicago Bears could give him a shot at tackle. At the least, he would be depth. Paris Johnson would be on the left side, and if Braxton Jones struggles with his transition to the right side, they have a backup plan in Saldiveri. Nothing Larry Borom or Alex Leatherwood has shown says they should be trusted, so this makes sense to push them both out of the mix.

Round 5, 148 Overall: Sidy Sow, OG, Eastern Michigan

Sidy Sow is a five-year starter at Eastern Michigan. He played at left tackle as a true freshman, but now has four years of work as a left guard. He plays a nasty style of football and is a pretty good mover in the run game. He needs to work on his ability to change directions and take on rushers crossing his face, but he tested pretty well and have the physical upside in him. Why not keep adding to the trenches with a MAC road grader?
