4.122: Beaux Limmer, C - Arkansas

You might be wondering why I would draft two centers in the same draft. The answer is that the Bears need interior line depth and the 2024 NFL Draft class doesn't have much of it. Beaux Limmer has been rising up draft boards and I have him ranked with a third-round grade. When ranking him among the other centers in the draft class, I have him ranked fourth. Centers usually drop in the draft, but even among interior linemen, Limmer is my sixth-ranked guard.

Despite taking the majority of Arkansas' snaps at center in 2023, Limmer was a right guard in 2022 and 2021. He has positional flexibility and could make for a solid backup at both center and guard. Adding him to the roster, along with Zach Frazier and a veteran center is just what the Bears need to do to revamp arguably the biggest need on the roster.

Limmer is athletic and has the ability to pull and move. He's 6'4" and 300 pounds. He is a technician with his hand fighting and can quickly grab defenders. He has a nasty side to his game that is similar to Teven Jenkins. He's not afraid to hit someone and move on looking for another body to hammer. He needs to add some bulk to his frame and develop some consistency. If he does that, he could easily step in and handle starting reps in a year or two.
