Chicago Bears Mock Draft: Ryan Poles makes an unprecedented trade, revamps offense

The Chicago Bears need to revamp the offense and Ryan Poles does just that in this 2024 NFL mock draft. However, he does it in a way that many fans would never expect.

Trade - Chicago Bears and Raiders

No matter what Ryan Poles does with the first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, I think most Chicago Bears fans are on the same page when it comes to the ninth pick. If one of the top three WRs falls, you take him with that pick. If none are there, you trade down again. All three receivers were off the board at 9 in this mock draft and Ryan Poles trades down with the Raiders.

Las Vegas Raiders receive:
1.09

Chicago Bears receive:
1.13
3.77

This is about as even as you can get in a trade. The value of the third-round pick received in the trade is slightly in the Chicago Bears favor on both draft pick value charts. Most teams have their own value charts derived from one of the main two (Jimmy Johnson or Rich Hill) or a combination of both. Ryan Poles doesn't look like a genius on this one, but he does come out ahead and that's all that matters here.
