The Chiefs could also be trade partners for the Chicago Bears

However, I believe the most likely team to trade up to in order to draft Adebawore is the Chiefs. If the Bears strike out in trying to trade with the Bills maybe Adebawore lasts until the Chiefs' first pick at 31. So I am going to focus on a possible trade with the Chiefs if Adebawore is still on the draft board at the 31st pick.

Based on my research this is how I see the Chiefs' needs. Number 1 is a starting DT to play next to Chris Jones. The next two needs seem about even. Those are a pass rusher to start or be used in a rotation. Then they could really use a CB2. By trading them the 53rd and 64th picks, the Chiefs' picks look like this, 53, 63 and 64.

With the 53rd pick, they could draft Tuli Tuipulotu who can play both DT and DE. Then with the 63rd and 64th picks they can draft any two players they want back to back when they are ready to draft with the 63rd pick. They could draft one of these CBs Julius Brents or Cam Smith. At DT they could draft Keeanu Benton.

On the NFL trade value chart the 53rd and 64th picks are worth 640 points compared to the 31st pick which is worth 600 points so this is a fair offer. However, if this is not enough for them, they also need some depth at LB. So in order for the Bears to draft Adebawore, I would also offer them Jack Sanborn who has proven he can start and play well in the NFL. After the Bears signed Tremaine Edwards to replace Sanborn as their starting MLB and TJ Edwards to also start at LB, Sanborn has become expendable.

If the Chiefs don't want Sanborn they could also offer the Chiefs the 103rd pick or one of their second-round picks in 2025. When Poles hired Matt Eberflus he signed onto the Cover 2 defense. That means they need a special defensive tackle who can explode into an offensive line. These two made their bed so deal with it and offer the Chiefs or whomever what they need so the Bears can get this special player for their defense. The Bears can make this draft about acquiring two players with elite traits that play premium positions. So they need to suck it up and make it happen if at all possible.
