1. Kirk Cousins

It pains me to place Kirk Cousins atop these rankings, but he is simply far too consistent on a season-to-season basis not to be here right now. Sure, we can talk about his record in big games, or prime time, and whatnot. But, Cousins is still a good quarterback.

He makes a lot of throws that Fields has yet to prove he can make, but again, that could change.

Now, it does help that Cousins has had some excellent weapons since coming to Minnesota. Whether it was Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen or now Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, Cousins has had some phenomenal targets to throw to.

Cousins threw for over 4,500 yards last year, and has thrown over for 4,000 in seven seasons as a pro. Over his last three years, he's averaged over 30 touchdown passes and over 4,300 yards passing. I'd say that is about as consistent as you can get, and Bears fans would do just about anything to have number like that at the quarterback position.

For right now, Cousins stays atop this list as he and the Vikings come off a 13-4 season. But, as the NFL proves time and time again, things can change quickly.
