3 free agents that would help the Chicago Bears push for the playoffs
The Chicago Bears have done a solid job adding talent to the roster this offseason. When Ryan Poles and Matt Eberflus were hired, many fans were hoping for an organizational shift. Poles had a vision of tearing the roster down and building it back up with his own vision. He traded away Khalil Mack, Robert Quinn and Roquan Smith — mainstays of the Ryan Pace era. He went into full rebuilding mode and fans were split on how they viewed the approach.
The Chicago Bears still have plenty of holes to fill
After finishing with the worst record in the league in 2022, the team made several flashy moves this offseason to improve. The team finally secured a top-tier receiver in D.J. Moore and signed stud linebackers T.J. Edwards and Tremaine Edmunds in free agency. Poles also added help to one of the worst pass-blocking offensive lines in football last season. The addition of Nate Davis should help the interior, while drafting Darnell Wright hopefully helps on the outside.
However, when you have the worst record in the league, it's hard to patch every hole in one offseason. With that being said, there are still several quality options available that would help the Bears get back to relevancy. Let's take a look at three of the best fits.
