2. Can Doug Kramer find a roster spot with the Chicago Bears?

Doug Kramer is yet another viable name in the mix to get work at center this weekend. Kramer was injured a few snaps into his career, and he gutted out 48 snaps last year, where he played poorly. Now, the seventh-round pick is back in his second NFL season with a hope to make the Chicago Bears roster.

However, the injury is not the only hurdle to overcome. As a seventh-round pick, the train keeps moving without you. He went from a chance to start or backup at center to essentially being a fourth-string option. Cody Whitehair, Lucas Patrick, and Dieter Eiselen all have more experience in the system now.

Still, could Kramer make some noise this summer and find himself on the roster? It is possible, especially because the other two can play guard. However, Kramer has never played guard and is probably a center only. Can the team even carve out snaps for Doug Kramer at this point? It may be fourth-quarter snaps.
