One position group that doesn't get talked about as much as others on this Bears team is at tight end. Last year, we saw Cole Kmet start finding the end zone on a regular basis and he looks to be finally breaking out. Kmet gives Justin Fields an all-around type of target who can be a threat just about anywhere on the field due to his skill set.

But, the Bears also signed former Packers tight end, veteran Robert Tonyan Jr. who gives the Bears a formidable duo to be able to run 12 personnel or possess certain advantages in the red zone. Those two should get plenty of time together and offer Fields a pair of towering, athletic targets at tight end.

Beyond those two, the Bears have Jake Tonges and Chase Allen, who are very different. Tonges is more of an H-back and blocker, while Allen is the receiving type. Could the Bears keep four tight ends? It's possible. But, one thing is for sure, and that's the fact of Stephen Carlson not making this final roster.

As the final tight end on the depth chart, and a guy with only six career receptions, Carlson has an uphill battle in a group that's pretty well carved out.
