5 Chicago Bears who deserve more playing time in Week 4 vs. Broncos

The Chicago Bears are struggling and I think it's safe to say changes need to be made. If the team isn't going to fire Matt Eberflus, then the coaching staff must make changes to the depth chart.

The Chicago Bears could also consider giving more snaps to these players

A few other names I'd like to see given more opportunities include Tyler Scott, Robert Tonyan and even Mercedes Lewis. The defensive backfield is a hot mess due to injuries so guys like Terrell Smith and Tyrique Stevenson are already going to be counted on heavily this week.

Tyler Scott, WR

I would like to see more chances for Tyler Scott. He has been inconsistent at times, but he has the speed and hands to make catches deep down the field. If Luke Getsy can start game planning like a professional offensive coordinator, then maybe he can draw the defense into the box more. This could allow Fields to throw quick throws over the middle (something we aren't seeing enough of) or even deep timing routes to Tyler Scott.

Robert Tonyan and Mercedes Lewis, TE

I'd like to see more two tight end sets too. The Chicago Bears can look to do some max protection and allow the running backs to actually run some outside zone plays. They seem to work when they are utilized, but Getsy hasn't been using the outside zone as often this season. Cole Kmet and Robert Tonyan are both solid pass catchers. There's no reason that the Bears shouldn't attempt to use both at times.
