Over the next couple of months, we're going to find out a lot about the 2024 Chicago Bears.

General manager Ryan Poles is entering the most crucial offseason of his tenure with the team and has some key decisions staring him in the face.

Chicago will need to make some calls on a few notable players. Do the Bears bring them back? Or, will they be replaced?

If it were up to the fans, these three players may not be around much longer.

1. Cody Whitehair, G/C

I think it's safe to say that the healthy majority of Bears fans are ready to see the team move on from Cody Whitehair. Center is arguably their biggest glaring need, this offseason. Whitehair began his career as an above-average interior lineman and has played both guard and center over the years.

But, his play has gotten worse over the last three seasons or so, and the Bears have to find a new, long-term solution to the position. This will likely come via the 2024 NFL Draft, as this class has three very good options whom will hear their names called within the first two days.

If Chicago decides to cut Whitehair, they will save over $9 million and open up their cap space even more. His cap hit is over $13 million in 2024, but he'd leave just about $4 million in dead cap when cut.
