3. Chicago Bears should try to get anything for Kindle Vildor

How the Chicago Bears handle Kindle Vildor will be interesting. On one hand, he had moments last year, and we all know that the pass rush was the real problem. The Chicago Bears know how valuable cornerback depth is, and right now, you can make a good case that Vildor is more NFL-ready than Terell Smith.

So, the Chicago Bears could keep Vildor as their fourth cornerback until Terell Smith is ready to take that role next season. On the flip side, Vildor was starting last year, but with Tyrique Stevenson he is out of three cornerback sets.

If Smith is going to pass him eventually, should they just make the transition, and see if the reputation of Vildor being a starter gets them anything? This is the last year that Vildor will be under contract, and the team will likely see him walk after this season. So, they could hold him as CB4 for a year, and get nothing, or try to move on this year. It will be interesting to see their choice.
