One Bears player on the roster bubble at each position

Who might be in danger?

Defensive Line: Kareem Khalid

The Bears had to add talent across the defensive line, specifically at defensive end. In the fifth round, they came up to get Kansas standout Austin Booker by using next year's capital. Booker comes in as either no. 3 or no. 4 behind Montez Sweat, DeMarcus Walker and Dominique Robinson. But, a strong training camp could even launch him into a starting role.

Currently no. 5 on the depth chart, veteran Kareem Khalid is definitively on the roster bubble right now. Should the Bears opt to add yet another veteran to the fold, Khalid very well could be on his way out. It just depends on what Chicago does from here on out.

Linebacker: Micah Baskerville

The Bears only added one player to the linebacker position over draft weekend, and it was undrafted free agent Carl Jones Jr. out of UCLA. But, Chicago is pretty well set at linebacker with Tremaine Edmunds, T.J. Edwards, Jack Sanborn and Noah Sewell.

Veteran Micah Baskerville could be the next guy up, and depending on whether the Bears opt to keep four or five linebackers, he could get a permanent job on the roster. But for now, he's definitely on the bubble.
