1. The Chicago Bears have to upgrade from Yannick Ngakoue

When the Chicago Bears signed Yannick Ngakoue, they were expecting at least eight sacks. He had done that every year of his career, so of course, the trend would stop with the Chicago Bears. He had just four sacks. While an ankle injury ended his year early, he was not on pace to hit that mark.

He was also having the worst year of his career from a pass-rush win rate perspective. That number has gone down for two straight years, and he may have capped out as an NFL player now. Either way, the Chicago Bears will not have to worry about the ages in the NFL. He will not be on the team.

Ngakoue is a free agent, and the team is highly unlikely to bring him back this offseason. They still have a need for an edge rusher, but he did not live up to expectations, and his injury is going to have to be monitored deep into the offseason. He did not sign until training camp last year and probably will not sign until that time this year. The Chicago Bears will not miss Yannick Ngakoue.
