The season is just about over, and the Chicago Bears will be in for one heck of an offseason, chock-full of key storylines and decisions.
Before it ends, though, the Bears must get through the Green Bay Packers in Week 18.
Beyond simply ending the Packers' season with a win, there are a few specific names that are also playing for their jobs. This is as important of a game as the Bears have played all season long, and for these five guys, it's a do-or-die scenario.
1. Braxton Jones, LT
Since taking over as the starting left tackle as a fifth-round pick, Braxton Jones has been serviceable. He has had his fair share of incredible showings, even. At times, he looks like a franchise left tackle. Other times, he can get overpowered, outmatched with speed rushers and also sport some undisciplined snaps that result in penalties.
Jones has an opportunity to solidify himself as part of the Bears' plans with a great outing against Green Bay.
Or, maybe it won't matter. Maybe the Bears are already looking at upgrading the position with the wealth of draft capital they could have by trading the no. 1 pick.
The scenarios are endless, but one thing is very clear: Jones doesn't have a lock on this job.
