3. Bears keep Fields, fire coaching staff

This seems to be a highly unlikely scenario, but another option the Bears have would be to keep Fields on board and completely refresh their coaching staff.

This would only happen if Kevin Warren was convinced that he can build a winning football team around Fields, but wants a say in bringing in a new coaching staff alongside Ryan Poles.

There is something to be said about the Bears' defense improving a great deal over the latter half of the season and how that impacted their ability to not only stay in games, but win a few as well. At the same time, they blew a handful of fourth quarter leads, and that must be taken into account as well when this decision is made.

Poles and Warren could opt to go the route of Miami and bring in a highly-touted offensive mind to be their next head coach, with the idea that the new coach could build an offense around Fields' strengths while also fixing some of the holes in the offensive line and getting the unit another playmaker opposite D.J. Moore.

Again, this is an unlikely outcome, but it is possible.
