The Chicago Bears could look to select Paris Johnson, Jr.

Another player that Ryan Poles could select and reunite with Justin Fields is offensive tackle, Paris Johnson, Jr. When I look at the draft class, I view Johnson as the top offensive tackle prospect. He is one of the only tackles I see as a left tackle. Most of the offensive tackle prospects in this class project as right tackles only.

As much praise as I am giving Johnson compared to the rest of this draft class, it should be pointed out that he is not an elite left tackle prospect. In most drafts, he'd probably be a late first-rounder or even a second-round pick. He is definitely the most NFL-ready left tackle prospect in this draft though.

The problem with selecting Paris Johnson is that you now have to find a new place for Braxton Jones. Does Jones become the swing tackle, or can he transition over to the right side? Ryan Poles has spoken about Jones' versatility, but when I watch him, I only see him as a left tackle. He does not look like a guard to me either. I wouldn't rule Paris Johnson out, but I wonder if they look elsewhere because of their current offensive line.
