3 realistic trade packages Bears can offer for A.J. Brown
By Ryan Heckman
Trade Number 3
In this deal, you have maybe the most interesting package yet. The Bears begin by trading the no. 9 pick to Philadelphia and swapping it for the no. 22 selection, still giving them an additional pick in the first round.
The idea here, is that if the Bears don't think they'll be in position to draft someone like Rome Odunze or Malik Nabers at no. 9, and they truly want to address the wide receiver position, then they're getting Brown at that spot instead.
The other aspect of this trade is the fact that Chicago is also dealing a second and a fourth rounder next year as part of the return for Philly. Think of it as the Bears trading a mid-to-late first rounder, plus a second and fourth-round pick in exchange for Brown.
If you look at it that way, it's a pretty even deal, but the Bears are still fortunate enough to be able to land another player in the first round of the draft.
