It is easy to jump to blaming the quarterback, but the Chicago Bears did not lose because of Justin Fields

2. The defensive line did the offense no favors

From the get-go, the Bears' defensive line was pushed around. On that initial Packers scoring drive, Green Bay got whatever they wanted up front. Their offensive line dominated the Bears' defensive front, especially on the interior.

Both Andrew Billings and Justin Jones were unable to win on that first drive, and although they had a couple of good moments later on, these two were huge issues for most of the game. Rookies Zacch Pickens and Gervon Dexter deserve more playing time, going forward.

When it came to rushing the passer, the Bears were almost non-existent. Jordan Love was sacked just once and hit only three times.

It was essentially opposite performances from the Bears and Packers. Green Bay gave their quarterback time to throw, while the Bears did not. You're not going to win many games when you get dominated in the trenches.
