Chicago Bears fans should want to see the Fields and Moore connection

The Chicago Bears finally have a WR1. We haven't seen a wide receiver this talented since Brandon Marshall. You heard that correctly. DJ Moore is a better wide receiver than both Alshon Jeffery and Allen Robinson. Robinson's padded stats were due to volume. He was force-fed the ball by Mitch Trubisky and had solid hands. He could not separate though and that is what sets Moore apart. Moore has just as good of hands but uses his speed, route running ability and body to create separation in a way Robinson cannot.

Justin Fields has to be ecstatic. In only a few months, he and DJ Moore have formed a strong connection. Constantly we hear about and even see occasionally how Fields and Moore are dominating. Here are just two examples of what we should expect to see often this season.

If these clean passes and top-notch catches do not excite you, maybe you are a Green Bay Packers fan. Justin Fields is looking sharp this year and if the offensive line can hold up longer than it did in 2022, the league better be on notice. This Chicago Bears offense is going to be vastly improved in year two of the Matt Eberflus era.
