4 Chicago Bears players in danger going into 2nd preseason game

Are the rookies coming up across the defensive line?

Could Velus Jones Jr. be playing his way off the roster?

Is there reason to worry about a certain quarterback?

Dominique Robinson is in danger of being moved down the depth chart

The Bears had some dominating performances from the defensive end position against Tennessee, but Dominique Robinson was not part of that conversation. If anything, Robinson looked a little slow and as though he was behind on most plays. He was unable to set the edge and bit on a couple of fakes, badly.

On the other hand, two other ends played out of their minds. Trevis Gipson played like an angry man who watched his name fall all the way down the initial depth chart. Gipson also looked like the best defensive lineman on the field Saturday. He cemented himself as one of the top ends on this team, even without seeing Yannick Ngakoue or DeMarcus Walker.

Terrell Lewis was also impressive, coming up with 2.0 sacks, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hit. Lewis was extremely active and all over his opposing offensive tackles. After a few years of injuries and not being able to prove his worth as a former third-round pick, the Alabama product seems to have found a home with the Bears.

Back to Robinson, who should be worried after his performance and seeing the likes of Gipson and Lewis show out. Robinson is now officially on the roster bubble, in my mind.
