Chicago Bears Roster: Ranking the top 5 players under the age of 25

Chicago Bears Top 5 Under 25: No. 3 - Jaquan Brisker, S
Last year Bears fans were absolutely distraught when Chicago passed on wide receiver George Pickens twice in the second round in favor of two defensive backs. It wasn’t that the Bears took unworthy players; rather they didn’t address their biggest need.
Although the decision to pass on Pickens remains questionable, the strong play from Jaquan Brisker throughout his rookie season has made this approach easier to stomach.
Brisker was touted as a do-it-all safety coming out of college. At Penn State, he was deployed as a safety-linebacker hybrid and was the centerpiece of the Nittany Lions' defense. With Chicago, Brisker took on a similar role, making plays in a variety of ways. He even led the team in sacks, a feat almost unheard of for safety.
Most years, a player like Brisker would've gotten more media attention, but historic rookie seasons from the likes of Sauce Gardner and Tariq Woolen allowed him to fly under the radar. However, if Brisker continues to develop, he will only become harder to ignore.
In a league where versatility has become more and more valuable over the years, a player like Brisker is irreplaceable. He can be used in multiple ways and is the perfect complement to Eddie Jackson. If 2022 is a sign of things to come, Bears fans should be thrilled about Brisker.
