We are less than a week away from the start of the Chicago Bears training camp. Not much has happened since mandatory minicamp. We have been waiting for news to rant about. We have been specifically waiting for Ryan Poles to add a defensive end worthy of becoming excited about the defensive side of the ball. Well, it's July 20th and Poles didn't sign Riley Reiff and Michael Schofield until July 25th and July 26th last year. It's definitely possible that an addition still happens.

Right now, the team is gearing up for training camp and then preseason. Fans should be excited about the changes that have taken place this offseason. Poles and his staff have added some young talent in both free agency and the 2023 NFL Draft. Every year, teams go through some type of turnover. The Chicago Bears are in the middle of a rebuild. Last season, Ryan Poles tore most of the team down, now he's starting to build it back up.

Three players on the Chicago Bears roster have seen their stock drop

When teams add new players in free agency and the draft, it means others are on their way out. Just like any team, the Bears have guys on the bubble. I don't expect any roster cuts to happen before training camp unless they add a player or two. If that happens, they will need to make room on the 90-man roster. Last year, the league required teams to cut their rosters down in a three-step process. They changed that rule to one, single cut day. The Chicago Bears will need to trim the roster from 90 players to 53 by August 29th.

Even though I don't foresee the Chicago Bears cutting anyone, I do think some players have seen their stock drop already. These three players specifically.
