Trade Number 2: The Bears make it interesting with a non-running back

This second deal would feature the Bears trading someone other than a running back, plus some serious draft capital. In this trade, the Bears end up parting ways with cornerback Jaylon Johnson, who has been desiring a new contract himself lately. The only problem is, Johnson isn't a Poles draft pick. So, he doesn't have much of a guarantee that he'll be around long-term.

The Colts, meanwhile, have a ton of unproven young guys in their cornerback room and could use a veteran like Johnson. At the moment, three of the Colts' top four outside cornerbacks are rookies, with two of them being drafted in the fifth round or later.

What would the Bears do at corner? That's tough, because it leaves them with rookie Tyrique Stevenson and veteran Kindle Vildor as their starters. Instantly, cornerback becomes a position of need. There are still some free agents out there, that the Bears would likely go after to help shore this spot up: Ronald Darby, Logan Ryan, Byron Jones, and P.J. Williams just to name a few.

As far as draft capital, the Bears would get a fourth rounder along with Johnson, while sending a first-round pick to the Colts next year, and a sixth rounder to the Colts in 2025.
