The Las Vegas Raiders promoted Antonio Pierce to the full-time head coach position this offseason. This is notable considering Pierce is the coach who benched Jimmy Garoppolo in favor of Aidan O'Connell. It's possible the Raiders could cut their losses and move on from Garoppolo and his large contract this offseason.

Even if Garoppolo sticks around, the team needs an option for the future. The Raiders are looking at options for an offensive coordinator, and a dual-threat QB like Justin Fields would be desired by many. Like the Steelers, the Raiders need a QB but do not have a top pick. The team could decide to trade for Fields instead of relying on a rookie.
