4. The Chicago Bears should trade for Danielle Hunter

Finally, if you watched the game against Tampa Bay, you would have noticed the Bears had an impossible time bringing down Baker Mayfield. Their pass rush did get home a few times, but failed to sack him in the end at all.

One player who has been involved in trade rumors over the last year or so is Minnesota Vikings edge rusher Danielle Hunter. This is Hunter's age 29 season and he has two years remaining on his current contract.

Minnesota has been trying their best to shed some salary over the last year or so, and this is another way they could do it. It sounds crazy, but the Vikings are also 0-2, and if they continue losing, you never know what they could wind up doing in order to turn things around for 2024.

The Bears would then have Hunter along with Yannick Ngakoue as their top two edge defenders, which would be a whole lot better tandem than what they would have trotted out had the season begun in July. And, before you mention an inner division trade, remember, the Vikings and Lions pulled one off last year involving T.J. Hockenson.
