The 2024 NFL Schedule has been released and we now know exactly when Caleb Williams' first game will be as the starting quarterback of the Chicago Bears.
Over the course of the past month, there was speculation that the Bears would be opening the 2024 NFL season on National TV with the idea being that they could be on Sunday Night Football against the Detroit Lions.
That won't be the case, however, as the Bears will open the season against the Tennessee Titans in a game that will not have a national audience.
That does not mean that the Bears will be strangers to national television.

The Bears' first Primetime game of the season will be Week 2 against the Houston Texans. This will be a game that every football fan should want to see as it will pit last year's rookie quarterback sensation, CJ Stroud, against the Williams. The success that Stroud had with the Texans last season is exactly what Williams will be looking to replicate in 2024 with the Bears.

The Bears will return to Thanksgiving Day action as they play the Detroit Lions for the first time in 2024 on Turkey Day. This will be a highly anticipated matchup as the new-look Bears will look to prove they are ready for the team at the top of the NFC North.

Two of the top quarterbacks in the 2024 NFL Draft Class will be on display for this game as Williams and the Bears take on JJ McCarthy's Minnesota Vikings.
