Chicago Bears Countdown to Kickoff: 39 Days with Eddie Jackson

Eddie Jackson's expectations with Chicago Bears and work off the field
Heading into the 2023 season, there are certainly a lot of question marks throughout the roster, but the tandem of Jackson and Brisker is perhaps one of the more compelling and exciting aspects of this team. Jackson has recently stated that he plans on having one of the best seasons all time by a safety, and with both defensive backs entering their second year together in this newer scheme, these two could have a great season in the secondary.
Currently, throughout his NFL career, Jackson has played six seasons with the Bears where he has recorded 14 interceptions, six defensive touchdowns, and 422 total tackles in 88 games (he has started every game that he has been available for). Amongst active players, Jackson has the most career fumble recoveries for touchdowns and is eighth in the league in career pick-sixes.
Outside of his work on the field, Jackson currently spends time working with his Remain to Reach Foundation. Founded in 2018, the foundation "aims to inspire and provide resources to at-risk youth who have found themselves in trouble with the law at a young age". Partly inspired by Jackson's time before football, the group aims to inspire, support, and help qualifying youth. In the past, Jackson has held a number of events and tournaments for the foundation and represented the group during the "My Cause My Cleats" campaign in 2019.
