Wille Gault's Career After Chicago Bears Trade

Following the team's Super Bowl run in 1985, Gault remained a full-time starter with the team and recorded a near career-best 818 receiving yards with 5 touchdowns in '86. In 1987, Gault had a similar season with 705 yards and seven touchdowns in just 12 games, but after the year, Gault requested a trade, eventually being moved to the Los Angeles Raiders. Part of Gault's trade request was to get him to a Californian team to help his potential acting career.

Gault spent six seasons with the Raiders, recording nearly 3,000 yards and 17 touchdowns before retiring following the 1993 campaign. Upon retiring, Gault continued as an actor and had a somewhat constant flow of roles in film and television until about 2007. In recent years, Gault has made a handful of appearances on television, most recently appearing in Netflix's Family Reunion series.
