5. Fire Matt Eberflus

This last one seems obvious, but the Bears have never fired a head coach during the season. In their illustrious history, it has never been done. Matt Eberflus would be the first, and you know what? I think it's time this organization stops playing soft and makes a bold move like this, finally.

Eberflus is clearly much better suited as a coordinator than he is a head coach. He is a likable guy with clear, moral intentions and a good head on his shoulders. He loves his players. But, as a head coach, he has failed and done so miserably.

The Bears missed the beat in the very beginning by hiring Eberflus, to be quite frank. He was not the right hire for Justin Fields, who was the most important player on this roster, and still is. Look around the league and you'll see some great quarterbacks playing for offensive-minded head coaches, with many of them currently leading their respective divisions as well.

The Bears have to follow that trend before it's too late. It's about time they shake things up, and firing Eberflus would be a way to do so.
