Chicago Bears Takeaway No. 3: Justin Fields wants to be on the Bears for life

If it were up to Justin Fields, he'd be the Chicago Bears' quarterback for life.

"I can’t see myself playing in another place, but I know how the league is," Fields said. "If it was up to me, I’d want to stay in Chicago. I love the city, the fans there are great, but it’s a business. I ain’t got no control over it, so whatever happens, happens.”

It's apparent that Fields understands how the league works as far as giving rookie quarterbacks a set amount of time to prove they're one of the top guys. If they're not, the possibility of being traded or released is presented.

He now lives in that grey area where there's a possibility of him staying or leaving. Until the NFL Combine, most likely, Justin Fields won't know what's next.

If it were up to him, however, he'd be a Chicago Bear forever.
