1. Will Chicago Bears have interest in Bobby Okereke?

Maybe the only reason the Chicago Bears do not sign Anthony Walker would be them signing Bobby Okereke instead. While Eberflus and his crew inherited Walker, they drafted Okereke in 2019. He slowly worked behind Walker for a bit, but the Colts were comfortable letting Walker leave because they knew Okereke could hold that role down.

While Walker struggled the past two seasons, Okereke started to shine. With Shaq Leonard injured, he took over as the top man in the middle. The only real difference will be the cost. Bobby Okereke will not set the market with his deal or anything, but he should get reasonable pay.

On the flip side, a team is buying low on Walker and getting him at the best price available. If the Chicago Bears want to stay cheap at linebacker, they will sign Walker. If they would like Okereke, who they already chose over Walker once, it may cost a slight bit more. We will see if the team has intentions to sign either, but both make a lot of sense when you factor in the ties to Matt Eberflus
