First Day 3 Chicago Bears Target: Parker Washington, WR - PSU
Washington is a guy I was sure was going to get a ton of draft hype as time passed, but that never happened. Possibly because Washington was never going to be a crazy combine tester or because he didn’t attend the senior bowl. Nonetheless, I am still a massive Parker Washington fan, he reminds me of how much I liked Amari Rodgers out of the 2020 draft because of the compact frame.
Washington in college was very underutilized mostly in part due to how futile the Penn State passing attack was under Sean Clifford, which is why I think he will be a massive steal. Washington might have the best hands in the entire draft, in addition to being a good route runner, and a large run-after-the-catch-threat. Washington also returns punts so he could have an instant role in the NFL if he gets buried on the depth charts as a rookie.
