5. Equanimeous St. Brown, WR

Finally, we come to the wide receiver room. All eyes are on Darnell Mooney this offseason. Will the Bears re-sign Mooney to be their WR2 in Shane Waldron's offense? It makes sense to do so, but beyond D.J. Moore and Mooney, the Bears are searching for additional playmakers.

Last year's rookie Tyler Scott has plenty of growing to do, still. Velus Jones Jr. may not be on this roster much longer. And, Equanimeous St. Brown is a free agent -- another guy who came over with Getsy.

St. Brown is one of the better blocking wide receivers in the league, but beyond that, he hasn't offered much. He doesn't separate well and is limited in his route tree. The Bears will likely move on from him and look to the draft in filling out the bottom of their wide receiver room.

They could obviously look at free agency, too, if Mooney isn't brought back. All in all, the wide receiver position could look vastly different for the Bears, in 2024. And, at the same time, it wouldn't be surprising to see the majority of that room come back for this season. Hopefully, it indeed looks different.
