With a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears added a gadget player who offered a lot of offensive skills that could be played anywhere on the field.

Or so they thought they did.

Instead, what they've seen is a bust— so far. Velus Jones Jr. has the potential to be a special player in this league. But, up to this point, he has yet to show it. Many conversations about Velus Jones start with his potential and end with his lack of results.
