Who are the worst Chicago Bears draft picks over the last 10 years?
By Evan Bruner
Chicago Bears 2013 NFL Draft: Kasheem Greene, ILB
Selection: Fourth Round (117th overall)
I went back and forth between Kasheem Greene and Jon Bostic for 2013. Both have different yet valid claims. Bostic was drafted in the second round and nearly 70 picks earlier, but Greene was a much worse player and only played for two years.
Neither player took a snap for the Bears after 2014, with Greene being cut and Bostic being traded to the New England Patriots. The circumstances surrounding the two’s departures give Greene the slight edge since the Bears only moved Bostic because they were given something in return.
Greene and Bostic both played linebacker, but Bostic got more playing time due to being a higher pick. Neither player thrived in Chicago, which is why both made quick exits, but unlike Bostic, who most recently played for Washington in 2022, Greene hasn’t stepped foot on an NFL field since 2014.
This was a pretty brutal draft class for Chicago. Outside of first-round pick Kyle Long, the Bears didn’t get a great return on their guys. Even players who put together lengthy pro careers, like Bostic and fifth-round pick Jordan Mills did most of it outside of Chicago.
