Who are the worst Chicago Bears draft picks over the last 10 years?

Chicago Bears 2016 NFL Draft: Leonard Floyd, OLB
Selection: First Round (ninth overall)
The Leonard Floyd pick is a classic case of a good player but a bad fit. Floyd’s bolstered production upon joining the Los Angeles Rams back in 2022 makes it difficult to truly call him a bust. In fact, he’s actually turned into one of the more productive pass rushers from the 2016 class.
However, the Bears never utilized him properly, and for a top-ten selection, that’s unacceptable. After a strong rookie season, Floyd never had more than 4.5 sacks in a season in Chicago. Even on the 2018 defense, which saw numerous Bears post-career years, Floyd was the odd man out, recording four sacks and 47 total tackles.
Floyd flourished after leaving the Bears in 2020 and had 30 sacks in his three seasons with the Rams. He now once again finds himself a free agent and will be on a roster come the start of the 2023 season.
Floyd becoming a solid player later in his career certainly helps the perception of this pick seven years later, but the truth is nothing Floyd does from here on out will change the fact the Bears got a minimal return on their top-ten pick, making it the worst of the 2016 Draft.
