3. Chicago Bears trade down and still land a guy they would have taken at 9

One of the best-case scenarios is a trade down. The question is, who do they trade down to, and what for? While they could take another big drop for another package, they already got the biggest package they can expect.

One of the better-case scenarios would be a trade down for a small profit while still landing a top player. Let's play it out at the Tennessee Titans or Houston Texans end up wanting to get up to nine and take a quarterback who falls.

The Chicago Bears can drop to 11, and see a quarterback go nine. So, the Eagles will take someone ten, and the Bears may end up with the guy they wanted at nine, to begin with. Let's say the Bears wanted Paris Johnson, and the Eagles take Peter Skoronski. The Bears traded down, the Eagles took someone they probably viewed as a guard, and the Bears still get the guy that everyone assumed they would have taken at nine.

We will never know, but if the Bears view Lukas Van Ness, Myles Murphy, or even someone like Bryan Breese as a top-ten player, they could slide into the mid-teens, and still possibly land one of those guys. That would obviously be the dream.
