Fan angle of DJ Moore touchdown from Caleb Williams is mind-blowing

The rookie couldn't have thrown this any better.

On a day where Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams looked the best he's looked early on this season, he and the offense were finally able to show signs of progress.

A long week of criticism directed mostly at offensive coordinator Shane Waldron seemed to result in major change out of this Bears offense, and it was noticeable.

Late in the third quarter, the Bears marched down the field to end up scoring what would be their second touchdown of the day, putting them up by a score of 17-9 on the L.A. Rams. That touchdown just so happened to be the first of D.J. Moore's 2024 campaign and also his first from Williams, of course.

On the live broadcast, Williams' throw appeared to be thrown perfectly; only where Moore could have gotten it and only where the Rams defender was unable to snatch it. There were alternate angles of Williams' touchdown pass that showed just how quickly the rookie had to move through his progressions, making the play even more impressive.

However, the play didn't look any better than watching fom a fan's perspective right behind the action.

More Bears news:

From this view, you can see just how fast the NFL game play is. On a broadcast, or maybe even from a distance, it isn't the same. But, from an angle like this, you can see how quickly Williams needs to process what's happening and move from progression to progression.

Also noting not only how fast this all comes together, but just how perfectly-placed that football is makes the play even more special.

What a throw.

Caleb Williams and the offense looked remarkably better in Week 4 vs. the Rams

In what is now the NFL's longest-active home win streak, the Bears came away with their seventh-straight victory at Soldier Field, and looked good doing it.

By now, we've followed the story of Waldron and some of the Bears' leaders chatting it up this past week in hopes that the offense would be able to come out of whatever struggles they were facing. It was likely a long, hard week for the group.

But, Williams and company made it worthwhile as the unit looked much-improved against the Rams. Chicago was able to get a run game going with D'Andre Swift which, prior to Week 4, seemed like an impossibility. But, between Swift's touches on the ground and through the air, he was able to amass 165 total yards and prove the critics wrong in this one.

Williams, meanwhile, still missed some throws, although after the game Moore acknowledged the one big miss on a potential touchdown was not on the rookie, but himself. So, clearly there are still some things to clean up and the communication needs to continue to improve.

But, all in all, this offense looked much better and appears to be on the upswing.
